What ships or characters would you like to see???

By Pinball1222, in X-Wing

IG 88 as a pilot or co pilot would also be nice.

What would a Hutt fly in space I wonder?

Edited by Demax Reboban

Probably a ship and card for all of the Bounty Hunters (Bossk, Dengar, IG-88 etc...) which would then be awesome to expand into a pirate faction. I would also love a modular freighter model and smuggler's alliance cards (Karde, Mirax Terrick, and Booster (in Star Destroyer would be sweet)), in line with the Falcon mods people have been doing, but that is probably pure fantasy and will never happen.

Anything with a VERY large, fully stocked refrigerator as a modification

Imps

Tie-Defender

Tie- Droid

Rebels

Tie-wing

Z95

More y-wing pilots

Co-pilot ability for y-wing

Vader in an interceptor or defender.

3PO.

Pirate / mercenary cards for existing ships.

Ha, my answer is...I agree with EVERYTHING you all have posted.

On the Vadar point, he should instil utter terror. Extra YES on Leia too.

Yes I read all of the above post.

the maybe he should another unique card from his Tie Advance "when Vader kills a target roll 1 attack dice, on a Crit place 1 Stress token on all enemy ships within 1 of the destroyed target. And remove 1 Stress from Vader's Allies within range 1 of the destroyed target"

everyone likes "collector cards" think that would be more "crazy good" than double actions... but it does turn Vader into an "average Pilot" but turns him into an "Inspiring Presence" as well as a Demoralizing one.

So you and I will do this in our universes then.

Who else?

:D:ph34r:

Imps

The Bolda Strikes!

Sic 'em!

Princess Leia (crew)

Rebel only, unique

Cost: 3pts

Add: 1 Astromech to the upgrade list.

Princess Leia (crew)

Empire only, unique

cost: 7

The attacker receives 1 Stress token then rolls 1 Attack Dice, on a Crit the attacker becomes "Ionized"

All Critical Hits against this ship are flipped facedown and suffer Effect: "Ionized"

----

If anyone is going to fan make these cards

the Card Art will probably be New Hope Leia for the Rebels.

For the Empire... well she was captured once in every movie of the Original Trilogy... so take your pick I'm gonna assume it'll be from RotJ ;) .

I personally would use a picture of Princess Peach... that girl is always "captured"

Crew members - Thrawn, Karrde, Ackbar, Bel Iblis

Imperial ships - TIE Avenger, TIE Phantom

Rebel - Clone war Y wing with coverings, E-wing, YT-2400

Capital - Radiant VII, Space slug

Wedge in a tie advanced.

I would like to see the Y-wing BTL-S3 at some point. It's the 2 man version, you could have a co-pilot and maybe even access to bombs. Would also like Corran Horn for the X-wing. With his Jedi background he could have a good focus based ability, like spending a focus for an extra agility point.

Rebels

E-wing

T-wing

Z-95

YT-2000 (Otana)

YT-2400 (Outrider)

RVN Courier (Raven's Claw)

Imperial

TIE Defender

TIE Avenger

TIE Vanguard

Bounty Hunter Ships

Starviper (Virago)

Preybird

Assault Gunboat

Missile Boat

More expanded universe stuff, for sure:

Dash Rendar, Outrider, Leebo

Prince Xizor, Virago

Ebon Hawk

Rogue Shadow

Rogue and Wraith squadron for sure , Mara jade with the Jade Fire of course, maybe some upgrade cards that allow you to give an upgrade to a pilot that doesn't normally warrant one. Super star destroyer a death star even if just for a scenario, which it would be the size of a volleyball at least haha. Some Z-95's, or even the yuuzhan vong coralskippers, if pirates/ black sun were introduced then maybe even some uglies. I guess the possibilities are endless, I would love to see a huge battle or even something like Rogue squadron versus the 181st.

I'm wondering if they shouldn't do the Rogue Shadow as a large base Rebel ship, another support piece to maintain symmetry with the Imperial shuttle (the fact that the HWK is a small base ship still rankles). As a Rebel ship, they could use both Juno Eclipse and Rahm Kota as pilots, something they couldn't really get away with on the Imperial side. Throw in PROXY as a crew member for good measure, with some kind of pilot or crew copying ability. Something along the lines of "Action: During your next turn, treat this ship as having the pilot ability of any other ship in play." It would have to be a little pricey so as to prevent easy abuse of your own pilot abilities, or it can be re-worded so that you can only copy your opponent's pilot abilities (which would fit better flavorfully anyways).

Ok maybe I am crazy for saying this but I will anyway. How about recreating the Battle of Hoth? Add snowspeeders for the rebels and AT-ATs and AT-STs for the imps. I know it doesnt sound very appealing with one choice of ship with rebels and two for imperials but you could add ships you already have to make the battle more epic. And having a sort of ground type battle may add a little flavor to the game. But when you factor in gravity it may hinder a lot of ships available manuevers. Just an idea is all.

come on guys, the next large imperial ship has to be the skipray!!!

finally give the empire a 360 fire arc!!!!

i would also love to see Space Troopers!!!!!

now for the rebels...............another freighter for a large ship the Corellien gun ship for the next HUGE ship. that sucker would kill waves of ties!!!!!!

the imps also need a HUGE ship, something like a system patrol craft, similar to the Tartan cruiser from empire at war PC game.

The Ebon Hawk from Knights of the Old Republic.

This ship would be neutral with Revan and the Exile as pilots. HK-47 and Mandalore as crew and T3-M4 as the astromech.

Uhhh... Isn't the Ebon Hawk from, like, 4000 BBY? Pretty sure the ship and its crew would be dust by the "current" game time frame. Too bad, the EH is kinda cool.

Yep .. I was thinking that... 4000 years before the movies.. though with the new fighter designs from KOTR, I would love to see a Old Republic set of figures.

Not sure if the FFG license covers old republic stuff, though.

It seems to cover at least some elements, since the Senator's Shuttle in the Core Set and the seismic charge are all from the prequels. As I recall, though, FFG has gone on record as saying that X-Wing will only be Rebellion-era, although the possibility of a new game covering the Clone Wars isn't out of the question.

Well the Republic and the Clone Wars is only around 20 years before the movies.. the Old Republic is around 4000 so a very different period... A lot of the Clone Wars ships are still in use in the Rebellion-era (EG. YT-1300, Y-Wing, Slave 1, Senator's Shuttle.. and I've even seen the ARC-170 in use in this era).. I can't think the Old Republic ones would be.

TBH Vader has one of the best abilities in the game. Unfortunately he's in a substandard ship (I think it's commonly thought that the Advanced is about 2 points overcosted, maybe 3).

Saying that Vader wasn't all that hot. One of the reasons he started the Advanced project was that he was worried that Fel was a better pilot than him. Which is probably true.

Luke: No, my father didn't fight in the Clone Wars. He was a navigator on a spice freighter.

Obi-Wan: That's what your uncle told you. He didn't hold with your father's ideals; he felt he should've stayed here and not gotten involved.

Luke: You fought in the Clone Wars?

Obi-Wan: Yes. I was once a Jedi knight, the same as your father.

Luke: I wish I'd known him.

Obi-Wan: He was the best star pilot in the galaxy, and a cunning warrior. I understand that you've become quite a good pilot yourself.

[sorrowfully]

Obi-Wan: And he was a good friend.

Bolding added for emphasis. Are you calling Ben a liar? Saying that Fel was better. Sheesh. Next, you'll probably say that Darth renounced his good ways and sided with his evil son.

He WAS the best Star pilot in the Galaxy.

The 'accident' which put him in the suit robbed him of a lot of his power, he should have been more powerful than the Emperor but never reached his potential.

He also managed to crash almost every ship he got his hands on in the Prequels and Clone Wars cartoons. Though compared to Obi he would have looked like the god of flying.
