Was there / is there going to be an errata to make renegade squadron recruit a bothan? His lore even states he is a bothan. Was this an over site that can be corrected? Thanks

Unlikely. Especially given that the Bothan trait is not referenced by any effects, so such an errata would not change anything in a game sense.

It might be that the card represents a generic member of Renegade Squadron, while the art simply chose to depict a Bothan, rather than a human or any number of other species. The Bothan trait may eventually be used to reference members of the Bothan Spynet in later expansions, thus its presence on Bothan Spy.

Luckily any character that has the bothan trait will also (most likely) have the character trait. Echo Caverns really kind of becomes amazing when you compare it to cards that hit traits in other games like LOTR.

Basically the Echo Caverns comes down to 4 traits: Vehicle, Droid, Character, Creature.
