Hi all,

The Monday Knights war gaming club in Melbourne, Australia, will be hosting The Battle Of Munro X-Wing Tournament on Sunday 23rd February 2014.

This will be an Imperial vs. Rebel tournament (no blue on blue games), so participants must register before the tournament and nominate which faction they wish to play for. Registration is required so that we can organise to have even numbers on each side.

100 point squads playing 4 rounds. Each round will either be a standard tournament format game with extra conditions, or a scenario mission.

The missions to be played for the tournament are now available. There might be some tweaks between now and then, but the guts will be the same. I will be providing everyone with a printout of the missions on the day.

16 players participated in the Battle of Munro MMXIV tournament today, battling over 4 rounds in a Rebels vs. Imperials campaign. In the end, the Imperials won control of the Munro system scoring 88 points to the Rebels' 52.


Awards were given to:

Best Rebel / Imperial: Alex Inglis / David Cook

2nd Rebel / Imperial: Charles Tricker / Andrew Oates

3rd Rebel / Imperial: Andrew Todd / Ed Corsar

Bounty Hunter Award: Django Upton

Giant Killer Award: Arnaud Ng

All Guts, No Glory Award: James Donelly
