Not a tourney list, but looks interesting to me

Probably been done though.

SATAN'S REBELS

Kyle Katarn+Moldy Crow + Recon Specialist + Blaster Turret + Push The limit

Garven Dreis + Proton Torpedos

Dutch Vander + Proton Torpedosx2 + Blaster Turret + R2 Astromech.

Looks like Tokens flying everywhere to me.

WHY put PtL on Kyle? He has a hard time getting rid of stress and once stressed he'll no longer be able to take that Focus action to get two tokens. Sure "tokens may fly" but you can only Focus ONCE even with PtL so what's the other action going to be? You want to spend 3 points so you could also TL in some kind of emergency?

The way I'd say those three "normally" work together is you have Garven move and Focus. Dutch can then move and TL giving Garven a TL with Kyle moving and taking the Focus action getting him two tokens which he can store. When the fighting starts you can decide if you want Kyle handing out a Focus or not; Garven goes and then can hand his focus to Dutch if the Y-W is going to use it or pass it to Kyle keeping it from being lost.

Assuming you can get the locks you have a good chance of off loading two torpedoes backed up with Focus the round you can lock. Where I'd look at changing this squad up a bit is to dump Dutch's second Torp and Kyle's PtL which will give you 7 points to work with on other things. I'll also admit I'm not a big fan of the Blaster Turret on a Y-W although making that an Ion would cost you a point. I guess that would leave you with 6 points which would happen to buy an Advance Proton Torpedo for the very maneuverable Y-Wing to use and most likely fire with Focus due to it's allies.

Honestly, with this trio of pilots, I'd have Garven TARGET LOCK, and get his focus from Kyle. That way, all 3 will fire focused and target locked :D.

You've got some good ideas, but I would definitely consider dropping the PTL off of Kyle, as well as all of the Torpedoes, in favor of finding more permanent solutions.

Thanks for the advice. I'm rather new at this, so I was hoping somebody would point out any flaws. I was actually figuring on PTL to give Kyle a target lock to use for rerolls on the Blaster Turret. I didn't have enough experience to know he has severe stress reduction issues.

My version of the squad does this:

If no-one has a left-over action from a previous turn:

Garven Target Locks.

"Dutch" Target Locks, and gives Kyle a Free TL Action.

Kyle Focuses.

At start of combat, Kyle passes Focus to Garven.

Garven fires (Target Locked and Focused), and passes Focus to "Dutch"

"Dutch" fires (Target Locked and Focused/Turreted). If equipping R5-K6, he attempts to get a free Target Lock, and for Garven.

Kyle fires (Target Locked and Focused).

If Garven has a TL from the previous turn, he Focuses. Kyle will pass a Focus to "Dutch" at the start of combat, and Garven will pass his focus to Kyle, who stores it on the Moldy Crow title.

"Dutch" should TL every turn, regardless of whether he has one from before.

If Kyle is slain, "Dutch" and Garven will give each other an action.

If "Dutch" is slain, Kyle and Garven will feed each other the same Focus, freeing both of them up for Target Locking every turn.

If Garven is slain, "Dutch" and Kyle will give each other an action.

There's a problem with saying Garven and Kyle can feed each other the same Focus; Kyle can only spend Focus. If Kyle uses TL while having a Focus "stored" he certainly could pass that Focus to Garven who can use it and pass it back to Kyle; the problem is that if Kyle then uses the Focus to fire his Blaster Cannon (why else would he TL?) it's gone and a new Focus needs to be generated. Now if Kyle has a lot of stored Focus tokens it may work but it is not a good long term solution and having a lot of Focus tokens also make Kyle a bigger target.

DraconP may have some of the basics figured out but there's a mistake when it gets to by Kyle's turn. Kyle may have generated two tokens but he gave one to Dutch via Garven and then he'll need the second to power the Blaster Turret which means it is NOT available to Focus that attack as well leaving only TL to go with it. If you're trying to tell me that spending TL and Focus on a 1 die attack is actually a "good" idea I'm not sure what to say; maybe at range 1 when the primary gets 2 dice it would beat rolling 3 dice with a Blaster Turret and no focus but not by much.

I'd say replace the Recon Specialist with Nien Nunb, and pull out Push the Limit for a shield upgrade the Crow. Give Dutch's Y-Wing an Advanced Torpedo alongside the normal one, or keep the normal torpedoes and give Garven an R2 as well, OR give Dutch an Ion Cannon.
