We have played 1v1 and 2v2 a few times. Tonight we have access to 4 Core boxes and 2 of each expansion. Can someone suggest a fun 3v3 list that doesn't take too long to play out - I'd like to get 2 or 3 games in a 4 hour period. I imagine they'd enjoy seeing the characters they know - Luke, Vader, Chewie etc. I was going to try a trench run setup but seems to complicated for us new "Target Clearance Sale" players.

my playgroup has been enjoying 2v2 games recently (120pts per side, 60pts per player). we dont allow points sharing so any unused points are lost (but still count for initiative of course).

you could try 50pts per player (150pts per side)? its imp to let players pick what ships they want. Just draw/roll for pick order.

50pts let u go with 4 cheap ties or 2 x-wings per player, that should allow i nice range of ships for both teams (XX, XY, YY, BB, BX, AA, AX, AB, AY) and prevent a player from getting wiped out too early if they have just a single ship. It also gives u the flexibility for a player to use a single large ship if they want to.
