It could be an unknown, or it could be a repeat performance. At the moment, we really can't say because with the champion cards hitting, Set 12 throwing a monkey wrench in a lot of plans, and the fact that there's a whole lot of players playing different characters to counter broader effects that WILL be present at the tournament... it'll really come out to who faces who.

I think that the first thing that everyone forgets is that the Guys from Ohio/Michigan are good players, they are still that, JUST PLAYERS. They aren't some kind of human cyborgs built to keep the Character Cards from the Rest of the UFS community, they are beatable, don't forget that. I have been able to draw with them on multiple occasions, so I wouldn't just give up just yet. Plus if I didn't think I didn't have a remote chance at winning why should I bother coming?

Here's Hoping to an awesome event. I 'm going to have to go crazy and make something redicoulous to win this event... I still don't have a deck at the moment.

And Yes chain smoking does give you special powers, it gives you +1 to your check once per game (when you need it most)
It's similar to the Team Pacific Hard check, which gives makes sure that you check a 5 or 6 when you need.
(My secret is that I use both techiniques)

Tuesday that's be epic. The event if I remember correctly is running at Anime North which runs May 22-24. The website is http://www.animenorth.com if ya wanna get info on it. If it's at the same place as last time there's a hotel pretty much right across the street from it.
