Fleet-building help

So, those of you whom have seen me post on this forum may be surprised to know that I come from a blended fleet: that is to say that my mom's boyfriend and I share collections for our local league.

That being said, I was wondering what would be the best 100 point fleet I can run with the limited ships that I actually OWN.

I have
1 X-Wing

2 Tie Fighters

1 Tie Advanced

1 Tie Interceptor

and as of Christmas, 1 Firespray-31 .

We don't really care about ownership of the individual cards, so any legal upgrade combinations are permissible for this advice seeking :)

Without diving in to deeply I'm going to say the Firespray, a named Interceptor, and the pair of Fighters. You may also try going with Vader instead of the pair of Fighters for a three ship squad but that can be tricky to play.

Bomber, remember only the ships he has and he only has TWO TIE Fighters. This removes the various "Howlrunner + 2 Academy Pilots" lists from consideration.

I'm thinking maybe something like:

Bounty Hunter (33)

Vader + Engine Upgrade (33)

Soontir Fel + Push the Limits + Stealth Device (33)

or maybe:

Boba + Expert Handling + Navigator + Seismic Charge

Soontir + PTL

2x Academy Pilot

alternatively:

Soontir + PTL + Stealth

Krassis + HLC

2 x Academy Pilots

oh yeah i missed that. that makes things a lil more difficult. i like vader with engine upgrade. id have listed that as well but wasnt sure if he had the upgrades (they come in slave1?)

Not really. After all, you technically need the upgrade cards to use them just as much as you need a specific ship to use that ship so trying to build with the upgrades that came with a person's collection is perfectly reasonable. The only reason I ignored it with my suggestions is because you said to in the original post.

The Firespray comes with a few key upgrades for any "real" collection in the Gunner and Stealth Devices but I'm not so big on the few that come with the Advanced and Interceptor.

Looking at some of these builds an alternative to some of the single ships for 32 points would be the Backstabber/Dark Curse combo with each of them being PL 6, 16 point ships with some potentially useful special abilities. One may also start to get a bit nervous when more than 40 points are spent on a ship and its worth twice what any other ship in the squad is worth.
