I got a lot of old Micro Machines to use for my Pirates and Ground Forces for all of my non Empire armies, and the first of my STAR BLAZERS kits; The Yamato, EDF Set 2, and Garmillas Set 2.

Some of mine are still in the mail, they didn't arrive in time. I'm getting a total of 2 X-wings expansions, 2 Y-wings and 5 Tie Fighters so I can do a 150 point swarm.
I think I must buy some gifts to myself:P

Being a dad, the focus is on our son mainly, so he got some weapons for larping + other stuff.

I didn't receive new ships, but I'm hoping to get in a game with some of my extended family when they come later this week (a lot of them had to work on Christmas Day, so we pushed our celebration back a few days to compensate).
I played a Christmas game with a new player. He vowed to name his first born child Annikin. It was a girl so he named her Annika. "Ho ho ho, two hits and a crit on your shuttle."

I only got myself a HWK-290 yesterday,
but past weekend I did take over someones collection of 2 startersets and one of everything of wave 1 and 2
I split it up into 3 parts, one for pressent to my brother, one for present for a mate that wanted to start and had his birthday the 20th, and some for myself

imo this is the best starting setup as u get all the best name pilots and have the option to go with a solid 5-6 ties swarm or 3 decent X-Wing pilots right off the bat. Nice.

Still waiting to get my hands on a Y-Wing as they are taking there time with these. Happy to add the Falcon to my Rebel fleet to do battle against my friends Firespray & Shuttle. Also happy to get my first X-wing (non base set) so I can now call on Wedge, who has a decent ability!
It is my second HWK, but I have been offered the chance to change it if wanted. What are your guys thoughts on this? is there a need for a second HWK?!?! I have found it very useful in the past!
