Awesome!!. I live in Janesville too and will be dropping by soon. How many players do you usually have out for the night? What are the common point ranges and levels of experience? I have a buddy who just brought a started set and expansions who may be making it out as well. ( I think I got him hooked)

It varies on how many show up. I'd say we almost always get 4 but as much as 8. We usually play 100 pt. squads. I'd like to think I'm a good player. We are meeting this week as a special event day cause of New Years. On December 31st at noon to 6pm 100 pt squads. We also play in Madison if your willing to drive. Our next meeting will be on January 12th. Again 100 pt. squads

I can't make it tomorrow as I have to work. I'm going to try to make it on the 12th. I go up to Madison every week to play warhammer fantasy at the last square (well I used to.... :( Looks like it will be Pegasus now) so its great to find a local xwing group.

Glad to hear we have another player in town. Sorry you can't join us tomorrow; we should have 6-10 players. These 'special' (as in no school, no work days) seem to have good attendance. As tk426 said, Fridays are in the 4-8 range, but that will be growing in January as we have some new players who will be joining us. (Well, new to X-Wing but they have been playing Attack Wing.)

Some of us have played since the game came out while others are just getting into it; tomorrow will be the first real play day for two of them. Yes, we'll play to win, but it's mostly to get together, play the game we love, and have some fun.

It sounds like a good time. I've been playing it since it came out, but my game play experience has been limited and my list writing experience has been even more so. I've run many games for beginners as teaching games (including a trench run at Gary-Con) but haven't got into the really competitive side yet.

Looking forward to it and maybe ill bring a couple of other folks with me.

Nice to meet you guys. I had a great time. I'm defiantly going to try to make it a bi-weekly event.

Joe here, from last night. It was great to meet everyone and see so many fans of the game. Looking forward to the next meeting.

Joe-
