I got a total of three base sets and gifted the duplicate cards to two friends. each of them getting decks for runner and corp.

Results have been fantastic. I now have six personal friends that play and one of them has started a collection of their own cards and all of them are excited to play draft events or are planing on buying their own base sets soon.

I really hope FFG pushes the draft format hard and changes their plan from digital printing to using real offset production printing (to lower the cost of production and make it a better deal for stores and players). There is an audience for LCGs that needs a cheaper cost of entry and I think the draft packs could make it work.

also i would love to see FFG hand out demo packs of netrunner like WOTC does for magic.
