Seriously. I won't spoiler the adventure, but the endgame is unbelievably brutal. A DW Kill-Team might not cut it sort of brutal. And the BBEG is just a monster.
No Surrender...'cause you're going to die
Where's the air support? What about our artillery? Can we request a Lance Strike?
Oooooh. I must have this.
Good, there are some in my group who need to have their Egos deflated a little when it comes to their character (BS/ Toughness 99, etc.). Maybe it will give them enough incentive to create new character like I want them to.
BS 99?

Mister please, could we have some spoilers?

Daemon Engines - multiple Daemon Engines at once. Warpsmith BBEG that might solo a TPK if he's directly confronted and played intelligently (and he's super intelligent if quite insane).
Only the insane have strength enough to prosper. Only those who prosper may truly judge what is sane.

Though my scope is limited by the book still being in the mail, I'll say "****, and here I was, hoping that Severus wasn't just another Servant of the Ruinous Powers." I'll have to hope that, after you break the back of the Dominate Forces, an unrelated group of Chaos tries to take advantage, and brings the above to bear.
Also wish to hope that the station, or at least some of its weapon emplacements/systems, will be statted. but that might be too much to hope for, beyond it being an environment, and its hazards.
Edited by venkelosWhat kind of XP do you think a group should be up to before tackling this adventure from the start? I want the endgame to be difficult, but I don't want them to be TPK'ed in one round. That being said, I also don't want them to breeze through the rest of it.
Edited by ArbitratorIs this scenario better written/thought out than Final Testament? Is it worth the money in terms of its replayability or usefulness as a source book?
I wouldn't say that there's much for replayability. As a sourcebook on Daemon engines, it's pretty good.
When do you guys think this will be available on drivethrurpg.com? Is it normal to have a wait between the release of the book and the PDF-version?
Can't wait to read this, I didn't like Final Testament and ended up never running it, but it gave me some neat ideas.
