As a Christmas gift I gave these to a friend who is just getting into X-Wing.

1x Starter Set

1x Tie-Fighter Expansion

1x Tie-Intercepter ***

1x X-Wing ***

1x A-Wing ***

***(These last 3 ships were all from my own collection and i have multiples of them already so knew they were going to see a lot more play in his house).

I also threw in a few extra upgrades like advanced proton torps, shield upgrade and stealth device.

The parcel will arrive at his place most likely tomorrow - wish i was there to see his reaction when he opens this gift I taught him how to play at a recent games weekend and he and his son (aged 8yrs) were hooked.

There are enough ships for him to play 70-80pts squad battles with his son. He is a casual player. Next I am going to recommend he buys a B-Wing and Tie-Advanced expansion. This will bump him up to 100pts.

As they r just starting out 4 imperial ships and 3 rebel ships is plenty for now. If he wants to get more serious I'll recommend an X-Wing Expansion (he doesnt have Wedge yet) and a Y-Wing.

Just got a package from a long-distance brother. It contained Christmas presents. Two exactly. By the shape, size, and feel of them I know that they are expansion packs. One large and one small. Keeping my fingers crossed for a y-wing or b-wing.

All I want is them 15 X-Wings and 30 Tie Fighters.

Now dammit...that is being intirely reasoniable!
