The "Rule of 11"

I'm not sure why the third video doesn't preview in this window, but I guess it doesn't matter. Let me know what you think!

Nice job on this vids. Thank you for sharing.

Cool idea for a new formation type in video 2.

Video 3 is a bit confusing, a bit too much talk and maybe some offset drawings would help, but nevertheless interesting and useful.

A remark on 'the rule of 11': This is all nicely explained, but I really missed kind of a game situation.

To explain the rule of 11, the bombers were moved first (so i assomed they had the lesser PS)

And when the X-Wings came in range 3 of the bombers, the guy said 'now the bombers can shoot thier missiles' ... but they could not. They hadn't had a chance to get a TL on the X-Wings, so the only thing they could do is fire their lasers and get a target lock next turn. So this rule of 11 works only if your opponent has iniative - or you have the higher pilot skill.

But what is your strategy if you have, like Jonus and 3 Scimitars vs. Wedge, Biggs and Luke?

I dont get the point. To TL the bombers need to be within range 3 at the end of their move, not the end of the XWs.

informative videos. asterlod placement is very underrated by many players. well done.

Tactical videos like these are allways usefull.

Either you use these plans, or you learn how to counter them.

Asteroid Placement was interesting:)

Yeah you can only post two live videos here. Thanks for sharing.

I already fly that formation in video 2 for some time now, and it's quite successful. I especially like it for my Interceptor squads, until they break up to go individually after the enemies

Nice vids, thanks

these videos are absolutely brilliant for newer players. Thank you for taking the time to do these and help the X-Wing community
