The next one should be the city, in my opinion. After that... Hmm, the forest or the mountains would be nice. Not both, I don't like the Idea. Something original. Maybe an expansion for navel exploration or the desert or whatever. For the sake of change.
Next Expansion After Dungeon - Any Ideas?
I think: The City is the best of the best of the best :-)
...or maybe something completly different and new... ???? mystic island ??? or something like the dragons for example invasion of greenskins ??

For me, the City is on the lowest bottom of all regions

For me, Timescape is not even in the same universe (fittingly enough).

I am actually praying that FFG will bring all realms back.
Even if the mountain realm is dangerous, i want to see it again in fourth edition.
But i like the Forest more than the mountains..

I can understand that you want to see it again.
Some people like it and some people don't.
I have never play it, but i don't like science fiction in a fantasy world. That's why.
But it would be the same if someone say that he does not want to see the Forest realm back.
The only difference is that all expansions except Timescape are fantasy..
The best thing what FFG can do is to satisfied everyone by bringing all expansions and realms back.

Yes, bringing back all Realms and all aside boards would be very good as well as making maybe one or two new
From the Timescape I like more the mechanics than SF itself. I would even play it, if it would be named "Cursed Glade Expansion Set" but had old ideas and few new (and strong like Behemot enemies).

Haha
Now you got me thinking.
What about a Curse Glade card deck, and you must draw one if you land on the woods or the Curse glade itself
On second thought... mmm maybe not, otherwise they are less spaces for the main card deck haha
But what about some wood cards that are cursed and have to do with a Cursed Glade expansion haha
Here i go again
I return to the "city"
I remember that the "City" from the second edition had a bit of noir, and the climate was very cool. In the third edition of "City of Adventure" was much weaker.
So I want the city from the second edition.
I'm not sure if this was the first or second edition

The City from second edition is huge.
And i hope that it fits in one corner of the main board.( so that would be third edition city)
But if you look to the size of the dungeon, you can expect a huge city in the future with many spaces..

I'm a litte worried further expansions, specially new version of the classic ones, because i remember them killing the game for me. And somehow i'm not keen on spending hours on developing house rules with my constant players if the FFG products follow that trend.
I bought The Reaper expansion last week, and it already feels like the difficulty has been increased. So i'm against doing a lot of big expansions. I'd rather like some smaller expansion and extra characters to be released.
Well one thing that is cool already is FFG's markings of the expansions on the cards themselves. If you get an expansion it will be much easier to get rid of all the relating material from the deck. That is nice really.

yeah so that's why I am thinking if they bring TS back at all just make it very late as a wacky add on.... Last second eddition was Dragons but I really liked that one.
Yeah, i hope that the Dragon expansion will return. I have take a look at those cards, and they are very nice
I have never play that expansion, but i have download it on talismanisland for the third edition.
It 's a real challenge i think because there are a lot of strong dragons in it for the main board
The box is also cool
Because the next expansion has something to do with toads, maybe we get a little expansion with only a lot of cards for the main deck or dungeon and some figures..
There are still missing cards for the main deck..
I agree with most of you guys here. I feel we cane xpect:
1) Smaller card based expansions, especially alternate endings.
2) Large board expansions will probably include: City, forrest, mountain.
3) Dragon cards and tower would be most amazing, but I'd only expect that later once all four outer realms are released.
The bottom line is that FFG seems dedicated to the franchise and is doing a superb job with tweaking the old classic 2nd ed. I'm sure whatever they release will be amazing.

It would be nice indeed if they would make a small expansion( or they include it in a big one?) with alternate endings and a lot of new adventure cards that are still missing.
Smaller expansion is always a welcome.Adding new adventure cards and spell cards is never too much.Same thing for new characters. What I want more in smaller expansions:
-Alternate endings like beating bosses(just like in Arkham Horror) etc. Of course the famous Black Void is a must. But not Pandora's Box or Hercule's Belt.Never liked those two.
-More treasure cards and relics.
As for bigger expansions,I think the city should be the next board.Always prefered the 2nd edition over the 3rd one.The way you move on the 2nd edition is more interesting and it has more variety. For the next big two I don't mind at all what it is.As long as it worked a bit like the dongeon for the ending.Fighting a lord and pick a treasure card.A haunted castle with traps and a vampire lord at the end is the kind of board that I'm still hoping for since the 2nd edition.
I'm also among the people who really liked the Timescape expansion. The image of roaming with a princess and a battle droid at your side is always funny. But I can live without this expansion for the 4th edition.
Maybe they could include some wanted enemy cards in the city, that you must seek on the main board or something etc
If the city has the same format as the dungeon, then the city is large enough for me

I hope we don't get a second edition city. With one exception (the high mage), it was almost always a pointless strategy to visit the city. Also the rules for warrants and laws were insanely complex.
A revamped city in which it is much easier to get around (lots of shops but few spaces connecting them) would be infinitely more playable. It should be possible to show up with a bag of gold, blow it, and get out again within a turn or two, definitely no more than 3 turns shopping!
Personally I hope they release the city expansion last, because I envision it to be the most complicated / time-consuming to produce and I want them to get it right.
So far dungeon is vastly superior to 2e Dungeon! Thanks for keeping the "short dungeon game" option, nice touch!
I think the Talisman Dragon expansion was the worst of them all. There were suddenly so many dragons and magic items and the endgame was boring. It made becoming the high mage too easy, and took away the mystique of encountering a dragon since they were so common to the point it felt like I was playing "Talisman: Scaly-Rats". Also the adventure cards were different shade of green so you knew when you were going to draw a dragon/magic object!

I have never play the dDagon expansion, but i think i will like it. And with the dragon tower, this would be awesome !
You can always choose for not using those cards
