As has been stated earlier, FFG employees are not allowed to post on their own forums. Yes, they do generate a bit of grumbling for not having a presence here. They know that, and they have known that for far longer than they have had the Star Wars license. But if you look, they do post on other gaming forums, you just have to know where to look and who to look for.
I, too, wish they had a presence on here, and have said so in private emails to various employees. Just understand that there are many, many pitfalls for them posting on their boards, not to mention all of the time it takes away from their jobs to read these forums.
Let me just say that in my dealings with FFG employees, that every single one has a very clear grasp on what they can and can't say to the public. Every one of them is extremely, extremely careful about how they answer questions and what they say. "Slipping up" while in casual conversation can not only cost a person their job (and to many, a dream job at that,) it could also cost the company their license. And I don't believe anyone here wants FFG to lose their Star Wars license.
So, I accept that they don't post publicly on their forums, at the cost of us grumbling about it. I'm honestly not even sure if they do browse these forums, since they aren't allowed to post on them anyway. I do know they they look at reported posts, as required.
