I sold my Talisman collection a while ago after I bought and played Relic, which I find a bit more "complete" but now with this new expansion I want to grab Talisman again...

Maybe this time i'll only go base game + Reaper + Bloodmoon + Nether Realm + 1 big expansion.

Whoah, a new upcoming small box expansion and the first Print on Demand Talisman expansion announced in only 48 hours!

Congratulations to Jon New for his first official Talisman expansion and thanks FFG for giving us something to play under Christmas Tree. Well, probably international customers like me are going to get it in the first weeks of 2014, if they order it now.

I'll definitely be getting this, but I have a question about it though. Does it contain any additional characters? Doesn't look like it, which I'm totally fine with, I'd just like to know.

I'm all for new expansions, but man the description doesn't explain... well anything. Not even a sample card to give you an idea.

I guess there is a new deck? Or something? And Pandora's Box. That's like... all I can glean from that announcement.

Wow. I'm actually incredibly surprised by this. I'll certainly be buying it, but it just seems so odd for them to release an expansion without any buildup at all. Also, it somewhat seems like they're making up for their year-long silence by announcing two expansions at once. I suppose that this could be considered a tiny box expansion, on account of it being even smaller than the small box expansions.

So what we get with this expansion is an alternate ending like Pandora's box, but with a different deck fit for purpose?

Are there any other cards included, eg adventure cards?

I am in a little bit of the same situatuion, FFG rocks as a company, but their shipping prices are quite high. I would prefer to sit on this one until my next order (Looks like Jan or Feb anyway) so I can combine shipping. Anyone done this with print on demand stuff before?

Anyone familiar with FFG POD products? The product descriptions of other game lines that have POD's say that the components have different textures and what not. Just wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this; it doesn't look like any Nether Realm cards are being shuffled into existing decks, but I'd just like to know. Or I'll just watch this thread, as reviews start coming in from guys using the new expansion! Happy gaming!
