Create an account and the web site uses a simple algorithym and google maps to flag for you all registered gamers that are looking for a group to join with. That may be of help. Hope you get a win. No joy on nearbyGamers.com DVeight. Thanks though. I have got a group already but they're interested more in D&D 3.5, and while I've managed to play some EotE with them, none can run or want to run it for me, so i'm stuck running games... again lol

HAHA You have same problem as me. My group just cant shed their DnD syndrome. So stuck on D20 and what I call "Spread Sheet Gaming". I went to great expense buying all this stuff and they haven't spent anything so we will be starting a new adventure in 2014 but I have a feeling they will moan and groan how they don't have +1 weapons etc. The joys of DnD indoctrination.

I find my players have the problem of 'dead head' or IDD (imagination deficit disorder), so when the game play goes to anything other then move, attack, attack, move, they don't know what to do with themselves so EotE is very hard for them. I was tempted one night to just bring out the beginners kit and have people play, but my major problem is they don't know star wars and don't look at EotE as a good, stand alone, sci fi, which it can be to non fans.

I think i might have joy with one, just one guy, cause i said i'd run WH40K dark heresy if HE bought it, as long as he ran EotE. But he's only played D20 before, so i'm expecting lots of frustration.

Have you came across a D20 power gamer in EotE? I have, and its the most amusing thing
