I was just wondering - There are A LOT of fan made scenarios and supplements for each edition of WFRP. I'm curious - how many of you have played/ran something fan-made? What was it and how it went? If you are a GM you could also specify why you did choose to ran the scenario?
Of the dozens of scenarios/supplements out there I have personally only used a handful. I linked only a couple, mostly based on my memory of where to find them.
Curse of the Crimson Pirate was used as a background for one campaign. I had a group of river pirates searching for Crimson Pirate's treasure.
Revenant was a major influence in co-writing the Wanted-scenario of LF8 . As it was presented a lot of material for Ubersreik I also leaned on it heavily while GMing a campaign set in the said city.
Theatre of the Damned was major influence for one session of a campaign where all the characters where a part of a carnival.
Blasphemous Cults 1 was the backbone of a campaign I ran several years ago. It was also the inspiration for my own instalment of the similar style of supplement. My absolute favourite of any WFRP fan-material for a long time.
I have mostly read the Defenders of the Forest and will hopefully have use for it during our next campaign (there will be two wood elves in the party). I'm planning on writing a review on this once I've finished it.
Tool Shed from Liber Fanatica 3 has been in constant used. I've printed it at least five times. The Ex Libris-part is something that a Call of Cthulhu-fan like me couldn't live without.
There also was a Cursed Blades of... document by Sami Uusitalo (iirc) but I cannot remember the name or find it. Hmmm.
(In addition to these I have used various material from Warpstone-magazine.)
So give us your input and keep the fan-material flowing!
