So hows it work? i mena i can see how it wins but how do the cards come together?

Very nice concepts here Hatman.

Obviously getting momentum was your problem (not a real good way to do it unless a) you had makai out, and b) you had an attack in play). Granted you do not have a way to hack or push the omnidirectional through.

I have a feeling your bad matches were against defensive decks that built faster than your tri symbol does. Getting stuff to stop you from ever getting momentum would mean you don't really have a kill condition...

Also, your draw ability relies heavily on momentum (light action card) which is good and bad. You absolutely need to draw with Remy, it is so important considering your first and foremost goal should be to get 2 of the same card in your hand that you can hold onto and play the partial combatant game with. All does have some nice draw cards that you could have considered as well in this deck (the pre-release card from Flames of Fame comes to mind).

I see you are addressing momentum with superba (shares 2 symbols = yay!), also consider natural leader (just wind I guess), and other momentum gain methods (nine lives, felcia's uppercut <block and momentum, damage and ready with shooting>). My only BIG concern with superba is that you are losing two staging area pieces. Albeit you would probably do this only when you need the momentum for the big kill.... But, a 6 handsize that doesnt have reliabile draw (see w/o momentum) could suffer from blowing up it's staging area for momentum.

ALSO - this deck needs spinta. Spinta isn't just good as a control card, it also gets you one momentum gauranteed and falls under my hated category of 'cost based momentum'. Oh, what's that you say? The cost to do something is I gain momentum... (I HATE KUNAI BEYOND YOUR BELIEF).

All the best and wish I coulda played you as stated elsewhere on the forums :)

As to how it comes together? It's actually fairly simple - it's good cards stacked together on a symbol spread that allows me to use them. It's really just that.

And my bad matches were against, surprisingly, aggro decks that came out swinging. I didn't lose against anything that was more controllish (I actually DRAW against Andre's Akuma). iSpin would give me another 2 check, so I'm... kind of iffy about it. The Cluster Bombs didn't have much problem getting though, surprisingly.

I guess my question is what is it about remy that makes it good or makes it better than character XYZ, or is it more a vanity project?

First F baits out Seals of Cessassion. The E Commit: is just gravy, honestly. Multiple annoying foundations? Destroy one with the E: and Olcadan the other one. The rest is really just his symbol spread. You could replace him with any other character, but it's really the Air/All/Death that cinches it. Also, Supreme Rising Rage Flash is a good way to follow up a Spike if they're still standing after it.

If there would have been a Promo Remy I'd have probably looked into that.
