Bounce Back
R: After your opponent plays a response, your attack gets +x speed. X equals the difficulty of the response's card.
Adopted
R Commit: Before your opponent makes a control check, that check gets +X. Gain X vitality. X may not be higher than your momentum.
Here is the squence of events:
My opponent attempts to play an attack, I respond with Adopted to pump the check and gain life, and the question is that at this point can my opponent respond with Bounce Back to pump the speed of the coming attack by 1?
I would say that according to game mechanics the attack has not hit the card pool yet and as such there is no attack yet to give the +1 speed to until after the check has been made.
If this is the case, this is very confusing to new players. They see that they have laid a card into their card pool and as such see that there is a card to be referenced. I tried to explain that the card isn't actually in the card pool until the check, but there was a bit of a disconnect. I wanted to get the official ruling, but I fear that I am right and that this can be confusing.
