I think that if they were to do that do a card like this

Xsing only: Gain an EPT, only useable on ships of pilot skill 4 or higher. This would give reds an ept as well as garving and would give luke and wedge 2 of them. They are both super expensive as well so if yo gave wedge 2 pilot talents then you are already looking at something like 33 points without anything else and that for the cheap ones people dont give him. but anyways. I could also see this card being used to give ywings an EPT

Finally live my fantasy of having a shuttle with Expert Handling and Daredevil.

Combine ptl and expose so that the latter is a good choice.

Draw their fire and determination might be good as well.

Personally though I'd prefer a modification or title that was priced at 0-1 and granted an ept to the ship. Would allow ships to have two talents or give pilots like Horton that got shafted the chance to use them.
