What do you like and dislike about the COC Core Set?

What do you guys like and dislike about the COC Core Set?

My Likes:

+ New Story cards

+ The zooms on pictures they made. In most cases it works better for card’s art (objects are closer and presenting better)

+ Cthulhu figures (not necessary, but I was surprised to see only two good things in the product, so here's the 3rd one :P )

My Dislikes:

- White borders and brightinging all the cards pictures , so they contrast less with the white borders. When I was comparing old cards that became reprinted, the old, black, darker, horrorer cards look SO MUCH BETTER!! They have the atmosphere and that certain seriousness I like. Wasn’t the cards back change enough...?

- So many typos. Very annoying! Becoming a plague of Cthulhu cards. Because of that, many cards have changed original Mythos names or got weird wording. For instance:
CS F33 Celano Fragments - it was 'Celaeno Fragments'
CS F54 Sword of Y'ha-tallo - it was 'Sword of Y'ha-talla'
CS F57 Pulled Under - Game Text typo: '...2 [terror] icons...'
CS F111 Disciple of the Gate - Game Text typo: 'Villianous'
CS F121 •Shub-Niggurath, The All Mother - Subtitle changed: it was 'The All-Mother'

- the big box – does not seem to be environment friendly; it’s hard to travel with (if you buy the game on a trip far from home for instance like it happened to me; disappointing when you open it and see that it is air filling it up mostly

- mis-printing Clarney as an Agency CH

- only one Conspiracy card?!

- typos in the game manual that confuse new players (for instance: Neutral cards blocks [repeating card number 148 twice] or number of Conspiracy cards allowed – 4 copies), and the Clarney's misprint

-/+ lack of Domain cards (personally I do not care, because I use the old Domain cards)

Summary: Overall, I like the game a lot, but it annoys me to see silly mistakes that butcher things that were once well made. And there is many things that make this impression, that the Core Set was either published in a hurry or without care for the final result.

The only real gripe I have with the core set is the packaging. The packaging didn't need to be any wider or taller than the folded game board to be honest. I also feel that the manual could have been printed on paper half the size, even if that meant it needed more pages. The domain markers are great, but they could have easily been half the size as well.

I love everything else about the game. The colour manual is exactly what I needed - much better than that little paper insert! Its really nice to have the tokens, and the new white-borders and card backs look gorgeous ! It was well worth the money.

At the moment I only have one copy, and while I would love extra copies of some of the cards, I can't justify the expense right now. If I could get the cards on their own, that would be great, but I feel like I'm spending some of the money on the extra board, markers, and packaging that I don't need.

Edit: Ok, I missed one. I'm also using my old domain cards, but I wished they put some new ones in with white-borders.
