Hunt for Skywalker questions

By adenil, in Star Wars: The Card Game - Rules Questions

1. If the hunt for skywalker player uses "A message from beyond" as one of their reinforcement objective sets, does that mean Old Ben's Spirit means the dark side potentially needs to kill luke three times if both get used on him since as an interupt he won't be leaving play (and that's if he doesn't find ways to bring old ben's spirit back from the discard pile like "it binds all things, or the new Obi-Wan card)? This seems a little strong to me (although I guess this just means dark side had better play with decent amounts of enhancement removal, and hope light side doesn't get that repeated use cancel card.

2. If superlaser blast is used on return to tatooine then the other dark side players should get really annoyed with their teammate because it's almost impossible to win now right? does targetted strike count as a card effect, or does it just modify what happens when you stirke making it not an effect?

3. The rules don't say anything about not being allowed to choose cards that reference the death star dial as reinforcements. I would assume this means that although you can end up with trench run (EDIT: although it's in a "rebel affiliation only" set and if so, since this deck doesn't use an affiliation card does it have no affiliation? does that restriction even apply when choosing the reinforcements?) as a reinforcement that because it has nothing to enhance you just can't play it. Luckily objectives aren't used because preparations for battle would break, but does this mean they can't ever print a card that cares about the specific number on the death star dial without needing to go back and errata these rules banning its use with this deck?

4. The card "Diplomatic Presence" in the "Alderaan's Promise" objective set reads "enhanced objective cannot be engaged unless each other objective you control has been engaged this phase." That sounds to me like it needs "each other objective you control that can be engaged " or else things aren't going to end well for the dark side. Bonus silly thing about the Alderaan's promise objective set, Bail Organa gets his second tactics with "the ruins of alderaan" from the challenge deck face-up, but doesn't have to leave play if that objective gets destroyed.

1. Yes. And yes it's strong.

2. Yes, that'd be dumb. I believe a keyword is an ability, not an effect (but I can't recall a ruling to that effect either so could be wrong).

3. Anything that references a death star dial simply wouldn't trigger (it's value would be null, not 0), so no need for errata. Any text printed on the objective is irrelevant when picking reinforcements - you're picking the group of 5 cards from within the objective set, not the objective itself.

4. Yes, that's the implied way to play it. For those objectives that can't be targeted or engaged, in effect they're not yet in play, so consider them owned rather than controlled.
