Hi everybody!

Me and my friends are playing for the first time the shadowrune campaign and while we were playing the first mission of act 2 we encountered a strange situation about OL reinforcement.

I read on the faqs that reinforcements come into the map (usually on the exit or the entrance) if there isn't any available space the reinforcement model spawn in the nearest available space..

i made a photo that show the situation we encountered.

The white Ettin is the reinforcement and it should come in from the entrance but there aren't any spaces to contain it so we placed it in the first available space.. far away from the spawn point (the entrance)

is it legal?

we think this is wrong but we can't find any rule about this..

Well, if that rule did not apply, heroes could quite easily block the entry of large monsters.

Let's say that it is a compromise, an abstraction to make the game playable at the cost of some "realism" (for what such a notion could mean in a fantasy environement).

You've interpreted the rule correctly, but you've misplaced the Ettin. The Ettin in this case would go to the left of the white dragon (on top of the number 2B). That puts it only 5 spaces away from the entrance, while the space it has been placed is 7 spaces away from the entrance.
