For that matter, anybody know if there is anyplace in or around LaCrosse to buy X-Wing, let alone play it? ![]()
Anyone around LaCrosse, WI?
At least it seems to be a lovely place to be ![]()
I live just south of La Crosse. I buy my x-wng minis at the Onalaska Barnes and Noble.
Dunno about play locations as River City Hobbies shut down...
Edited by MavolentBrosaLa Crosse is Gods country
Barnes and Noble has a fair amount of ships.
Target just had the core set on clearance for $12 each.
Rivercity is being reopened by jimmyjams out of Winona. So maybe soon
I'll have to check out target next time i'm up in that area.
Any other La Crosse players?
I am looking to start an Organized Play Group at...
Apex Hobby Shop
1918 Campbell Road
Right across from UWL.
Currently thinking Tuesday at 6 but this may be flexible.
I will be there Thursday the 30th and also Tuesday the 4th.
Edited by RamblerI'll have to check out the shop, didn't know there was another gaming shop in town since rivercity hobbies closed
X-Wing tonight at 6pm at Apex Hobbies. Stop in for a game or just to chat.
I'll bring the pizza.
Edited by RamblerI'll be there.
Looks like Apex Games will be kicking of its Summer League Session. Sunday June 8th.
Current Plan is the 8th will be an Epic Level Event. If you can plan out a 150 point fleet and up to 3 Epic points. Players will be paired into teams of 300 points.
Edit: @4PM
Edited by RamblerI'm from the LaCrosse area originally! (DeSoto to be exact) I'm glad to see some people are playing X-Wing there.
I didn't know Rivercity Hobbies closed. That's a bummer. That store, Next Generation, and that weird pet shop/hobby store used to be my main hangouts.
