All he says. Yeah, a quarter of these are visually indistinguishable from the ones we have. Secondly, it takes 6 months to get 2 fighters per faction, so how long would it take to fill out this list if we were to pretend there wouldn't be anything besides TIE's for the Empire? 6 years?

There are some duplicates ... like the Phantom is the V38 ... The Bomber trainer and the Bomber ... several TIE Fighters with different wording ...
the one ship off of that list I would really like to see is the Chiss Claw Craft.
You forgot the Tie Predator! Probably the tie I would like to see the most.
I'm sure we'll see defender, droid, phantom...
I hope we never see Scimitar, scout, or cruiser (really hate the boxy ties)...
I hope we ALSO get the Hunter, Chisscraft, and Oppressor (for name alone!)...

The TIE Shuttle is wrong; the wings are supposed to bend outward.
Most of the others are duplicates. 34 out of 48 are unique.

I agree... with you and with my previous self.
The TIE boarding craft is pretty much physically identical to the TIE bomber. The Bomber used to be the boarding craft, "This ship was designed for the very first Star Wars film, but the exterior model would not make it into any scenes. The design would be resurrected for The Empire Strikes Back as the TIE bomber and the TIE shuttle" - Wookieepedia. I'm surprised nobody has made a mission around TIE boarding craft.
Chiss claw craft and the Tie Phantom have always been my favorite designs!
