any ideas?

The first one gives you 3 super-maneuverable blockers for a super-maneuverable HSF variant. That Barrel-Roll will either give you an extra attack die or added survivability every time you use it, to the point of going from Range 1 to out of range 3, or to ending in a spot that overlaps your starting position. Woo!
The second one gives you an entire team that shoots as Level 12s. Once Roark goes down, they still all shoot as level 8s!

For perspective folks, with this build she has 92 different flightpaths for EVERY non-red maneuver, and 10 for each red! Contrast this with the GSP+EH pilots who have 10 total for non-reds... terrifying

In SableGryphon's build, you could only afford 1 PTL without stripping upgrades off of Ibtisam and/or demoting one of the A-Wings.
In my Agile Wookie build, you simply wouldn't be able to afford PTL.
