Yea I ran nothing new or exciting in my deck, cept main board Evil plans

Really Ian and my match was almost 3 hours?? Felt like 20 minutes.
Bad part was I beat the gief earlier in swiss 2-0.
The games in tops though were completely different as I just didn't get any answer cards and was being out controlled by a 6hs character. Thats just how bad things were going for me. Not to mention, Ian propably played 6-8 SoCs a game. Just overall retarded but great games. I cant lie I was irritated my deck just wouldn't cooperate at all. I'd get his entire board tapped down and just need to a spiral arrow and I'd flip a three forcing me to commit out and the attack doing absolutely nothing.

Overall it was a blast, TN always puts on a good tournie. Side Note: The software is TOTALLY weird.

It was an interesting tourney to say the least. I was undeafeated after round 2 with Donovan, then my girlfreind calls and says she got into a car wreck( which she was in my car at the time) and I had to drop. I thought she was coming to pick me up, but she had to go to work and so I dropped for no reason ultimately. Man I was one sad/mad panda lol. But I did have fun beasting people in Smash Bro. I won like 16 matches straight with Marth. I got some good trades and meet some cool people. Plus I felt I had a really soild build of Donovan, so i would have had to compete with Ben on diversity. But mad props to Ben for owning in swiss with Donnie.

I had a good time the whole week. Saturday I hung out and judged and talked my sister into being Mai for everyone. So yes that was my little sister for those that didnt know. Atlanta was nothing short of amazing int he tourney. I'm just sorry all the stuff went missing we're still looking into it by the way. We think we know what happened to the banner and the monster but, not the mats. Sunday I was there were I played in teams with Charlie and Simon and came one with one win with my remy deck. I was happy because i'm currently trying to find a deck that suits me as pet deck and i finally found it.

well after playing around with my copy of the tourny software i do think i know what happened. Paul announced at the beginning of the day the records were: 3 points for a full win, 0 points for a loss and 1 for a tie. When he was asking people their score for the round he was entering the 2-1's as 2 points for the winner ONE POINT for the loser, now i do this for my tournies because of tie breakers but i never have over 8 players plus i keep a writen backup incase i screw something up, but nothing against Paul i love him and all, but this was a screw up, dunno if it would have knocked a 2-2 out of the top 8 or not i dont have the full records in front of me but if someone can help me piece those together i'm sure thats what happened.

... i could have sworn i hit the "3" key when i did that, ok time to edit that embarassing mistake, but yeah i did play around like i said with my software and thats the only way that i could conseve some 2-2s getting in and 2 3-1's not getting in outside of diversity... i'll try to confirm my findings after i get SOME sleep and fix my mistake.

if you had actually looked at the list before top 8 you saw that everyone was up there in order of points, but the points didnt seem to be backed by any system. i had 6 points with 2-2, top had 7 pts with 4-0. 3-1 had 4 pts and 2-1-1 had 5 points. there was something messed up in the base code of the programs distribution of pts

and thats what i was saying but you guys ignored it and took a sentance out of my post. i will re-iderate. PAUL DINT REPORT THE TOURNY THE WAY HE SAID HE WANTED TO. he gave those that won a game out of the match 1 point and the winner 2 points instead of the 3, 1, 0 system he said he was gonna use. 3 points should have been what everyone got those that were 4-0 should have had 12 points, the 2-2's should have had 6 and so forth... thats how it got screwed up, i think from now on EVERYONE should keep their own records and compare them BEFORE their scout announces the top cut...

NJ: listen, paul did not give anyone who lost 2-1 any points. all he did was put win, loss or draw into the system for them. the system itself gives points based dumb crap. the reason a 2-1-1 got in over a 3-1? STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE, paul didn't do this. it's the system. quit blaming this stuff on paul please. all he did was enter in win, loss or draw. OKAY, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

the system is supposed to go by wins and losses and draws not strength of schedule. but for some reason this new system doesn't care about win loss as much as SOS. how else can you explain a 2-2 being fourth seed and a 3-1 not making top cuts? this system is horrid.

yes. this softwares base code gives strength of schedule more value than wins and losses it seems. it was a guy from my shop playing seong mina he was 3-1 but a 2-2 and a 2-1-1 made it in over him b/c this software is the best

all paul did was put in win loss or draw. i dont' knw where nj is getting this crap of giving people points. NJ, please do not post that ever again, do you realize how stupid that sounds?

only recomendation i can tell ya chris is just make sure you have written record alongside the software, just incase something doesn't look correct, from what i've heard the issue is being adressed, so hopefully at least by nats this doesnt happen again... yay... ok lets get back to the topic at hand, anyone else wanna share their experiences there, also those that showed up i do have a topic for you to post your reports in in the tourny reports forum.
