As the topic states, howdy! I was just recently introduced to UFS through a friend of mine and decided to take the time to learns the ins and outs of the game as well as dive into the community. I had only just started getting into card games a month or two before being introduced to UFS and man oh man was I confused. Who am I kiddin'? I still am confused! I have most of the basics down but I've been having a few issues with the abbreviations of each card and how to play them. Any resources or hints for a newbie such as myself to make the learning curve a bit easier?

One trick i would recommend, is wait until the end of the week, and get a starter box character from a prerelease if you are able to get to one. In there will be the all new and updated set of rules that will detail everything you need to know.

getting in to the community aspect's a bit weird, especially if you've never really played TCGs before... GOOD LUCK! (words of advice later when I have more time perhaps)

Yay follow up questions. First is; How does one get a location sanctioned for tournaments? Second is; how does one become a tourney official/judge?
