Multiple Arms and Lightning Attack

By Odorata, in Only War Rules Questions

I'm looking at the multiple arms trait combined with two weapon wielder and other talents. Say a creature has multiple arms (4) (so 4 arms total, if i'm reading it right) each armed with a melee weapon and also has lightning attack. How many total times can he perform lightning attack per turn?

Would the total be different if you replaced the melee weapons with deadly natural weapons(say for example claws) on each hand?

What about Furious Assualt? Does having multiple arms give him any additional attacks when he uses a full round attack like all out attack to take advantage of this talent?

Four attacks.

No, makes no difference if natural weapons or not.

No additional attacks if he has Furious Assault, as that is not a Two-Weapon Wielder attack option.

I smell a Genestealer.

Ditto.

Now as I understand, that's 4 Lightning Attack instances.

Yep. That's nothing though. Canoptek Wraiths have 6 Swift Attacks.

Make sure they have Ambidextrous though or all but one of those will be at a -20 to hit.

Just for overkill, thow in killing strike to make all of those attacks unavoidable.

Has Killing Strike changed in OW? I thought it only works with All-Out Attack, which cannot be used either with Two-Weapon Wielder or with Lightning Attack.

EDIT: Yikes, looking at the book I see it has! And it's only Tier 2!

It takes a Fate Point though.

Good that most critters don't have TbtF.
