So,

I was toying with a Mandalorian force with the currently available ships and came up with the concept of a "boarding action" fleet.

The Omicron is carrying the commandos on a mission and the Firesprays are running escort. Firesprays can take care of themselves and provide cover to the shuttle.

The Omicron is interesting in this set up.

1. You focus for the action, you shoot and do not spend the focus.

2. You will probably miss. Fire Control Systems kicks in and you Gunner with TL and Focus.

3. That garners you another TL.

4. If the target is not dead, then you shoot it with TL and Focus again next turn.

5. If that misses, you Gunner with TL.

6. Repeat from 1

If you target dies in either step 1 or 2, repeat from step 1

Engine upgrade is there to keep you out of trouble.

Interesting concept. I assume you mean fire control system and not advanced sensors. I'd probably use the leftover two points for a crewman for one of the bounty hunters just in case.

Honestly, with a shuttle setup like this, I find I almost never focus. The FCS + Gunner combo is effective enough and I'm almost always boosting. Granted, I'm flying only shuttles, so I need to either get out of range quickly or turn hard to dogfight. I'd be interested to hear if you find yourself doing the same with this list.
