Aurebesh Cards: Slightly different sizes & texture?

By oofalong, in Star Wars: The Card Game

I have recently been buying many of the Aurebesh cards off of eBay, and noticed that all of them are slightly larger than my core set cards - like 1mm longer - and have a slightly different texture. Considering I have purchased from many different sellers I don't suspect anything nefarious, but I wanted to ask the community.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Also, if anyone has an Aurebesh Jedi Mind Trick and/or Force Choke they want to sell feel free to PM me.

Finally, is there really no way to do a keyword search of these forums?

(Sorry for posting multiple questions under a misleading title, but I thought it would be better than posting three separate threads.)

They are slightly different. And, depending on the type of sleeves someone uses, they are more or less visible when you look across the table at the deck. So, you can sometimes tell where your opponent's Darth Vader is, etc. I chose not to use my Aurebesh cards at Worlds for that reason.

Promo cards are printed in-house by Fantasy Flight Games using their "Print on Demand" resources. They have a different card stock and slightly different proportions.

This is the case for promo cards for all of their games. The tournament rules mention that they are only legal if you use opaque card sleeves.

Thanks for the responses/answers.
