I used to be a player of MTG. Literally stopped playing when I found X-Wing a few months ago. I have unopened card sleeves from my MTG days and plan to sleeve up some of the pilot cards, etc.
What size do I need for the upgrade cards?

American Mini sleeves. You can get them from Mayday Games, Fantasy Flight, or Ultra Pro.
Yes, the yellow packs for the upgrades and the gray packs for the pilot cards.
My co-player happened to find some clear cases by FFG in my FLG a few weeks ago that I somehow neglected to see in my various trips. Immediately bought a couple packs and had to come back for more, but they're perfect for upgrades and damage cards.
