Yes, it's seen in ROTJ and I think possibly at the end of ESB as part of the rebel fleet. But that's not say it could not be used by the Imperials. I think we'll have to let go of our purist tendencies (or at least I will!) to get more Imperial big ships into the game.

Isnt the Gunship a Rebel ship?
According to the Wookie, the DP20 Corellian Gunship was used by both sides. I thought it was exclusively a rebel ship too. Both sides also used Corellian Corvettes, according to the source.
Yeah ... maybe Wookie states this. I've never seen Gunships or Correlian Corvettes in the service of the Empire ... not in the games iv'e played at least. Those ships are too Rebel-like with their giant engines.

The Assassin class was used a lot by the Empire which is a modified Correlian Corvette. Saying that I'm hoping for something a bit different like the customs corvette
