Be careful about what you DONT ask for. You just might get it. I think the Moldy Crow would have made this list last year, but is a VERY solid addition to the game. FF has shown us that any ship could make the lineup so dont count any out.
I wouldn't buy them because of their looks. I'd buy them because they're both EXCELLENT anti-starfighter platforms.
You know what else is terrific anti-fighter platform and doesn't look like Darth Vader's *****?

But, I was thinking about the development of the Lancer earlier. The problem is, I am already disappointed that the Gallofree and the CR90 were relatively reduced in scale. If it were to be done in 1/270, wouldn't the Lancer have to be over 3' long? The Carrack is considerably longer. :-(

If I may add to some of the previous terrible ships... another contender is the Hornet-class interceptor. It's from the same book as the Suncrusher, and so pitiful that it has only appeared in a handful of sources.
But it's a giant space bee fightery-thing. How could one not want one.
