Is it sad that that shuttle has a better paint job than FFG's?

On second thought, that looks like FFG's...did you do something to it? Looks far better than mine does, that's for sure

I gave it a a few slightly coloured panels and a light weathering, not much over the factory finish.

I ordered the senator's shuttle and a pair of DX9s from him. I really enjoy the escort mission from the core set much more now. I flew his "armed shuttle" once in a game. It was the last man standing before we had to quit. it can't maneuver for anything, but it is loads of fun.

I absolutely hate when a large base ship lands in front of the shuttle and a gridlock ensues. As legal as it is, I consider it foul play if my oponent keeps picking moves that cause both shuttle and large ship to stay put. Luckily, I play with a good group. It's all in good fun.

I usually fly wedge (obviously) with a rookie pilot with two gold squatters with ions. Tight formation the whole way, giving those evades after wedge dies. Slapping a turret on the shuttle for the escort mission would ring some bells. I'm going to try that.

I see I am not the only one here who thinks way out of the box, there are a lot of fine Star Wars models out there. I love that Sith Infiltrator model. It is a wonderful new large model for the game and it looks as good as any of the FFG offerings IMO.

The model is 10cm and 1/265.

At 1/270 the model would have been a diminuitive 9.8cm.

It's quite cannon actually, in a movie and everything.
