Is there an official ruling on the interaction of this card with Forced Responses for the LCG? The wording of the card, along with this excerpt from http://chris-long.com/cthulhu/cthulhuGlossary.cfm: "[Forced Responses] are similar to Responses, but are not a subset of them, and must be treated as unique" leads me to believe that Forced Responses are indeed safe from Power Drain. Is this the general consensus?

For me you 're right, you can't cancel a Forced response, just the effects preceded by the text in bold : Action or Response.
