Hey everyone! I read a few post about a D100 roll I really have no idea how it works and how I can apply it to SW Edge of empire. I have a item sheet that has a d100 on the top of it and I also got the game master kit that has it on one of the sheets. ANy help would be great..

Roll them and consult the chart... don't bother getting an actual d100 those things roll forever

It's not a "die set" though, just two different D10s of your choosing.

yep. I recall the day (not too long ago actually) when I realize I could resolve a d% (d100) as two d10.

for the set referenced above, just make sure that you realize that a "10" one the 10's dice (double digit) and a "0" on the 1's dice (single digit) is a "10" not a "100". A 100 actually is a "00" on the 10's dice and a "0" on the 1's dice.

Knowing what the lower extreme means and the higher extreme means, will help you quite a bit.

Oh noes! I've been rolling my hundred sided dice for over thirty years now, and it never occurred to me there might be an easier way to do it with two d10s!

Yeah, takes a few minutes to stop rolling (unless you use a dice try to hem it in).

Also makes a pretty potent bullet for a wrist-slingshot. I used to own a d100, but got so ticked off with it (was in college) that I used a friend's wrist-slingshot to bury that sucker half a foot inside of a tree. Baring the wrist-slingshot, makes for a pretty handy thrown object for when a player is being especially obnoxious.

I don't know why find this so funny. You play these games trying so hard to come up with good ideas to solve problems. I shouldn't be surprised when there are some odd problem solving things in a gamer's tool box.

Well, there was a very good reason we made sure that nobody else was nearby when going out to let off some steam by pelleting things with high velocity projectiles

Yeah a buddy at work told me about the 100 sided die... WOW... he also showed me a percentile die as well.. Crazy
