could a country/ state sub-forum be added so it would be easyier to find games nearer to instead of seeing lines and line of things that don't relate.

Aye, as the US can take its hat off every now and then ;-).
I think we should just invade Canada and take it over. Operation Leaf Blower. Distract the mounties with poutine and they will never see us coming. ![]()
BLAME CANADA!

My apologies Liz, I'm English myself but phone playing up. and just couldnt be botheted to type everything.
Either a homebrew/alt rules subforum or just a squad discussion forum would be nice and help with clutter. Not sure about regional ones though.

Why do something crazy like that? Maybe the US should give Canada a bunch of territory. I mean unless something is happening near an Ocean it's not like much attention gets paid to it.

Lol I was teasing. I long ago resigned myself to people saying things such as "The US, Europe, Asia, Etc..." opposed "North America, Europe, Asia, Etc..."
Sub-Forum : Squadron Lists
Agreed. The battle reports forum has been overrun by non-battle reports.
Edited by onebitThe issue with the forum clutter is why a bunch of people have started migrating to other forums, like afewmaneuvers.com and such. I can't stand the lack of organization here and only pop in once a month maybe and can only stand it till my head starts hurting again...
It's not bad if you stop by daily and catch up, but once a month? Yeah, you'll be in trouble.
well i only pop in here about once a week.
the main problem i see is that the forums still lacks this 3 categories of sub forums.
1) mods and misc.
2) campaign / scenarios
3) list and stretagy
For me i was really only thinking sub forum by region for the looking for games section but i do like some of 5he other ideas
i agree some organisation is needed with posts.
i cant remember how many... "im a new player what should i buy next" ... posts iv seen, i started ignoring them after the 5th one or so.
Squad Lists for fun vs Squad Lists for tournaments would be good.
I think the problem is their is seemingly no moderation in this forum. If you go to the forums for other games you will actually find posts that a pinned with things such as frequently asked questions, guides for new players, player resource pages, and so many things like that. I've been to sections of the FFG community that have like 10 sub forums. I'm not really sure why x-wing has never been given the same attention.

we are small in number but punch above our weight ![]()
i lived in Washington State back in 1989 - yes that makes me old. i was based in Arlington - the good ol days when the Seattle SuperSonics were playing
Good memories.
Im trying hard to coordinate our players here - starting with a tournament which i am judging tomorrow (8-9players but hopefully get a few more rock up last minute).
I have a few friends that meet 1x month at a LGS but we r trying to grow tth numbers a bit so we can have regular tournaments.
err. back on topic... without sub-forums posts are getting hard to track and keep getting bumped dwn the pg.
im making the jump to afewmanuevers.com.
http://www.afewmaneuvers.com/index
this r very organised there and its easy to navigate around diff topic threads.
it seems like iv outgrown these forums. they were a gr8 starting place. now its time to move on.
