isn't the barrel roll ever using the 1 blank template?

Or do you mean he may make a barrel roll instead of getting a stress token?

You may barrel roll using the curved 1 bank template rather than the 1 straight template. But it costs a stress.

I more liked the "Make a barrel roll to prevent stress" idea

But ok, seems like this is where Yorr comes in handy. A curved barrel roll can be intriguing.
