Now, I figured you would have give us something by now to chew on. Epic rules, Rebel Aces, Cinmatic rules, Wave 4, etc.

I imagined you would make a release for everyone at Worlds but nope.

Things are stale right now. We need something to discuss and yell at each other about.

More info would be nice... But they released the latest FAQ on Oct 16th, a bit over a month ago. Imp Aces was released a month prior to that. They just fnished Worlds a bit ago.

So while it would be nice, it's not like we've gone months and months with no news.

Dude. I believe I was very forthcoming about how much I love the game. I was simply disappointed they didn't release anything at Worlds. Once again. I'm not complaining. I was just trying to be be funny and playful.

after worlds I'm still chewing and drooling over what i can do to make a good 4 ship rebel build. always thought it was about the 3 ship, but nope. And they did release something at worlds. Alternate Art Gold Squad will be in your stores upcoming prize support packs. I'll give them till after the holidays to release some info. Then i'll be rabid just like the guy who started this thread.

I'd like to preface this post by saying I DON'T want to turn this thread into an X-Wing vs. Attack Wing argument. I enjoy both games for different reasons and don't personally prefer one over the other. Lately, however, I found that I'm more excited about Attack Wing for the simple reason that information about new ships and upgrades continues to come out. Attack Wing's ambitious release schedule may bite the game in the butt later as it gets saturated with options, but for the moment, I find it exciting.

It's unfortunate this comes at a time when the X-Wing front is relatively quiet. While I still play the game as much as Attack Wing, if not more, I find myself spending less time dreaming up new squads, since it seems most squad options have already been hashed to death.

I also like the fact that information about Attack Wing releases, for the most part, doesn't come out too far ahead of time. X-Wing Waves 2 and 3 were announced so far in advance and got discussed so much that, for me, actually getting the ships in had was somewhat anticlimactic. I was already eager for the next one.

The starfield tiles and Imperial Aces getting delayed is a bummer, too. I know zip about retail distribution, so I don't understand how there are concrete street dates for Attack Wing, while X-Wing gets an ambiguous Q3, Q4, or what have you. I give FFG the benefit of the doubt in assuming they just don't want to make promises about things beyond their control.

It's my opinion that X-Wing needs a shot in the arm right now. Variant rules, online missions, and/or printable upgrade cards, maybe, that don't depend on distributors and slow boats from China, but only on playtesting? A contest to submit fan-created missions/upgrades? What do you think, dear X-Wing community?

That's weird. My wife doesn't have a problem with it when I do it.

Personally, I don't mind the slow pace of announcements. I have plenty to do outside waiting for responses from FFG, and I figure when they do announce something new I will welcome it just the same as if they had announced it today. Really, why should I worry about it when I can spend the time must more productively by practicing with the ships and pilots I already have?

Second. Its a big company. I think they have a lot on their plate just now, be patient my love. The game is still a baby, it needs to grow in a certain pace. This is good. Longing for things is good. Embrace it or embrace defeat. You know we both agreed to this...
