I love how FFG has brought is so many pilots and other character that I didn't know before I started playing. Howelrunner, Soonter Fel and Captain Jonus are becoming old friends.

But where is Princess Lea? Sure she isn't a pilot, but couldn't she be a crew member. If my count is correct she flys in the Millennium Falcon as many times as Han does. She is one of the three main characters of the series.

Yes, she was the princess to be rescued, but she kicked but. She put Han in his place in under a minute after being let out of her cell. Don't forget she is one of the leaders of the Rebellion, she is a military commander. When I look at the different special abilities, the one that imply some sort of command ability are my favorite. Lando, Howelrunner, Capatin Jonus. Give her some sort of synergy ability.

I mean who doesn't want to give Han Solo the Falcon Title and the crew it with Luke and Lea. (sorry Chewy not enough lots for you.)

Some people have speculated Leia might appear in the Tantive IV expansion either as a crew member or a pilot.

First off, it's Leia.

Secondly, we have Ibtisam, Jan Ors, Kath Scarlett, and Howlrunner as female pilots already, so no woman-driver jokes.

Here's my problem: What would she POSSIBLY do as a card?

She is a leader and offers moral boosts to the Rebels.. not sure how she would apply .. She has been shown to have a variety of skills, possibly she could be a damage removal action. But that could get crazy with Chewie though.. trying to get my brain around the idea..

Actually, you could mimic this by having her give out a focus. Say,

When this ship gains a stress, also assign it one focus token.

But this is besides the point because FFG confirmed her as being in the Tantive IV release, though as a pilot or crew memeber I don't recall them specifing. So we can assume this has been taken care of already.

I love the idea of the big ships, but I don't think a lot of us who like them are gonna want to pay high prices for something that will sit on a shelf most times.. and casual players aren't usually big investors of large or expensive expansions.. just my 2 credits there..

a good reason as any to put Leia there, as an additional flair factor at least from the buisiness view point. (maybe with a crew version R2D2 thrown in)

Actually, when it comes to iconic characters I would like to see team boni for classic combinations, e.g. Luke/R2D2, Han Chewie, etc. I don't know exactly what this bonus should look like , but it would count for the movie feeling.

In that topic area, you could also think of adverse effects, e.g. when Luke and Vader are on the battlefield in any form, maybe by canceling each others talents out in direct confrontation or something else.

I always liked, once per game you may ignore the effects of Asteroids till the end of the turn.

its more the other way around - telling han the odds just stress him out.

I got a card idea: Since C3PO just translates R2D2 (even concerning the odds) or the language of the falcon

I... actually really like this idea. A lot in fact. And he's unique, so if he lowered the cost by say, 2 or 3 points that'd make him balanced.

Gains a stress token to immediately gain a focus token.
