EotE has a sidebar rule that allows capital ships to count their silhouette as one less when firing certain anti-starfighter weapons. I did not see this rule in the AoR Beta.

Does this rule still apply with AoR Beta ships?

If we assume that this rule applies in AoR, and since AoR doesn't have a blanket 'capital ships' category like EotE, which vessels in the Beta can benefit from this rule? Gunships? Cruisers? Battleships?

In particular there are two armed transports - one a gunship (YV-929) and one a cruiser (Gozanti) - that are questionable. Both of these vessels, but the Gozanti in particular, would really benefit from this rule, but I'm not sure if it should apply to them.

After looking through EotE and AoR my first point is that the Starfighter Defense will not apply to YV-929 since its silhouette 4, and EotE states that Capital ships are Silhouette 5+ (page 231) so in that case I would not apply it.

When it comes to the Gonzati I cannot see anything that doesn't allow it to apply the Starfighter Defense rule. It makes is quite powerful I guess, but I'm not sure it's an issue.
