Is it posible to catch the damage of a proton bomb using dtf?

No. Since proton bombs are not attacks, DTF would not allow you to suffer the uncanceled crit.

To take that thought even a bit further, what DTF says is ",,, you may suffer 1 of the uncancelled <critical damage symbol> results of the target ship." Proton bombs do not deal a critical damage die result; they deal a face-up damage card.

Compare DTF to Chewie, who specifically says " When you are dealt a faceup Damage card, immediately flip it facedown."
