So the report is in and I was finally able to rise to the top of the heap and win outright my first tournament with a strong 5-0 record. Deltmi got second place going 3-2 and beating out the thirsd pace Max by a full victory vs. a modified win.

Now I ran Chewy with Expert Handling, Millenium Falcon, and Luke Skywalker with 2 Blue Squadron B-Wings both with FCS. My damage output was crazy good and I really just rolled average the whole tournament.

Deltmi had Dutch Vander with Ion Turret, 2 Rookie Pilots and a Blue Squadron with HLC

My match against Max was rough for him as I first took out Han Solo with Marksmanship and Gunner, and Ten Numb with advanced sensors, autoblaster and marksmanship as well. So Chewy hit an asteroid on round 2 and lost his shot but my blues lit up Han and next round chewy got the kill. Ten Numb was an easy mop up.

So my victory 100-0

Next I played Kath with an advanced proton torpedo, seismic charge and recon specialist with deadeye and slave 1 and assault missile. Phew........ He also had krassis with a HLC and sabateur. I baited him to turn into the asteroids and he followed and a key bump and expert handling move on chebaccas part put kath onto an asteroid 2 turns in a row. She did get her assault missile off and did 2 damage to my blue and 1 splash to each of my other 2 ships. Chewy and the other blue lit kath up a bit. My other blue was on an asteroid. I know, asteroid again. But blue blocked kath and caused the string of asteroid hits by kath and she didnt get but one main shot off before she died. Now krassis k-turned and totally missed all the action. He fled north and around the asteroids and by the time he came back I had all 3 ships lined up on him and he went down in 2 rounds.

So My victory 100-0

Deltmi and my match together was a rough battle with me losing Chewie in the very last round to the HLC and my 2 blues remaining unscathed making the final kill needed against his B-Wing. The key to this battle was when Vander ioned one of my blues, the next movement i moved one of my blues in front of the other getting a stack keeping dutch from being able to move forward. The x-wing overshot us thinking i would move farther and didnt negating his presence for a round. Dutch died in a fiery 2crit 2hit burst and chewy finally fell a couple rounds later.

So my victory 100-52

Last but not least I took on Aarons Lambda with Vader and Turr phennir with daredevil, and 2 sabre squadron pilots. First round of combat I took a gamble and barell rolled my b-wings right and caused his lambda to have no shot and only open space in front of him. His sabers killed my blue quite fast and chewey landed a 0 pilot skill crit on a sabre. Next round chewy flew in behind the formation and one shotted turr as turr bumped and got no action. My blue hurt a sabre and he had only one shot. Later chewy k'turned and was out of it for a round as his sabre punished my blue leaving him at 2hp left. His 0 pilot skill finally made it back into the fight and got blasted by the now returned chewy. My B got lucky and killed the other sabre after a lost action and My b went down to the lambda with his lambdas only shot of the game. Then chewy lit up the lambda. The next round saw chewy expert handling out of the lambdas fire arc and it was over.

So my victory 100-48

So Total 400-100

I have to give thanks to theorist for his insight and this amazing squad.

So My bye counted me at 5-0 for the win by a quite large margain. Deltmi won 2 full games and beat out Max who only had 1 win and a modified win against Deltmi.

So all in all it was a great and very fun tournament and I cant wait to play again. Chewie Rules!!!

You must have flown well but it is hard to tell with all the glare.

I LOVE Expert Handling on Gunner Larges, particularly Falcons. Being able to theoretically drop from outside Range 3 to inside Range 1 is what I call board presence!
