i am trying to find out what is in the main box. I know the books has a generic list but i need an exact list. i had a 3 yr old dump all of the expansions and the main box together.

All the cards that belong to a given expansion will have the corresponding expansion icon printed on them. From that, you can deduce which heroes and which monsters go with which expansion by referencing the hero/monster cards.

The only thing you won't be able to so easily separate are the tiles, but you don't really need to separate those - when playing any particular quest, the maps will only call for map tiles from its expansion and/or the core set.

I believe that only the Expansion cards have a symbol on them and cards from the base game do not.
