Every dwarf deck I see is built around mining tunnels and big dwarf units, I have played this kind of deck before and it was good but boring. I was just wondering if there is a competitive dwarf ranger deck out there or if he just isn't good enough.

As for your deck, I think that legend is very expensive. Depends on what your local meta is about, but I'd rather pick something more generally useful (like Master Rune of Spite). But yeah, depends.
And why no "My Life for the Hold!"?
I prefer honor in death over life for the hold, and the legend is there to back up the dwarf ranger. When one of my units leaves play I can kill one enemy unit with the legend and burn one point to opponents capital with the ranger. The dwarfs don't have a lot of ways to get rid of enemy units units so I thought that the legend would be useful.
