I have a pile of these little things, and I don't think I've ever used them. Usually I end up just looking at the other guy's cards and seeing which ships are the most damaged and if they have a crit I'll look at the card and see what it does, so I don't really need it and neither do my opponents.
Anyone ever use Critical Hit tokens?
Um.. I think I might have.. once.. twice? not sure.. Haven't had that many crits come up... and when we do, we tend to forget all about them. x.x
Might take a few and make them into Droid/Elite tokens.
I used some just today, because I had forgot to get out my Ion tokens and they weren't being used for anything else.

We use them all the time. Thought everybody did, but apparently not so.
yeah we use them as marksmanship .. seemed redundant to mark crits when the nice face up card did so well in notifying us that the ship was fubar.
We use them mainly for 'fixable' effects, just to remind taking their 'action'.... Sometimes we also use them for 'one shot' effects like 'Blinded Pilot', again for visual reminding purposes, removing them after their effect is resolved.
I should really start using them more, sometimes forget about the crit until after completing the phase the effect. But for the most part really don't, should get into the habbit though

I use the turn marker tokens for marksmanship
I have been wondering for quite some time what the bloody things were, as I've not encountered ANYONE who has used them.

Same here. It always ticks me off when I forget to use my action to flip a card over, roll one for damage, take damage. ![]()

We use the data/intel tokens for the missions (hexagonal ones with the green box in the center)
I use them for anything that gives damage. When I first started playing I always forgot, and my opponent would remind me that my ship was destroyed because I turned left (The Zoolander effect?). Anyway I got into the habit, and still use them.

Either this, or elite pilot skills that need it. Mostly marksmanship.
Yea, hardly ever. Our group prefers to put our dials on the ship cards (near where the crit dmg cards are anyway) so we dont really forget crits at all. I have used them more for other random effects like R2-F2 or Marksmanship than for crits.
We use them as intended.
I started using them as my opponents and I often have a hard time remembering if a ship has a critical damage on it. They do their job well.
Being headache prone (literally, chronic migraines) I have started using them so I remember lasting critical effects on a ship. I think it's handy.
Definitely try to use them to mark the crit hit ships. Especially when there are mulitple ships of the same model on the table. Trying to read the oponents cards upside down from the other side of the table in bad lighting can just be frustrating.
Easier to track that one tie with a -1 attack dice with a marker.
Marksman is tracked by 'tapping' the action card, although have concidered using the data tokens.
Since it keeps coming up. I want to share something I worked on with Adam at Applied Perspectives:

Where are these from?
I got a friend to make them up, I think he might be willing to get some more made.
Rodent, those tokens look amazing! I would be interested in some if they are available to purchase!
