Ok peoples I need help cause i,m getting a bunch of VS players and their store put on and I need the following: Every character ,their attacks,foundations that are good not the kinda crappy ones. Also symbols explained to the utmost detail (sidenote: I know of a bunch of articals that players wrote that explains all of this but I don't know where to find them and i,m explaining it to them cause I used to play with them and no i,m not just gonna say " go to THD and look them up and send them on their way.) Keep in mind that their minds to UFS are fresh off the boat so to speak.

So basically, you're asking us to explain what cards are good, what cards are bad, (presumably) why, AND how each symbol works?

Good luck, buddy, if you get more than 1 serious reply they'll probably disagree on virtually every point.

There's just way too many variables to account for, and weigh relative to each other.

That said, good cards are ones with good stats and blocks, great cards are ones with good stats and useful effects, like the cards that will be their kill condition, bad cards are ones with bad stats and okay-to-bad effects. I'd just build them some decks and let them try it out, rather than trying to explain everything that goes into building a deck when they have never played the game before.

while this is a good way to go with most card games, I've seen go two ways with UFS. I picked up the game this way, instantly cottoned on to the way checks and difficulties make a deck and thuroughly enjoued it until I eventualy quit over rules issues. other people I knew though, gave up quite quickly after learning this way as they just couldn't build a deck that could reliably play cards. I suspect various people see how it works while others need real lessons in deck building.
