I wonder how many EU ships we shall see then as it appears the main ones (fighters) are all covered.
The Imperial Aces aren't movie-canon, that's for sure. I'm not sure if that makes them EU, but whatever.

I do wonder if we will get Corsec X-Wings, they are about the only famous colour scheme that was used by multiple pilots not just a single one.

Not movie-canon pretty much how EU is defined.
It doesn't matter. The aces set definitly is cool. There is so few ships shown in the classic movies.
I really love the battle at Yavin. Its the best of all movies. The second best is the scene in Episode II: Obi vs. Jango. I love the seismic charges
I wish there are more dogfighting scenes from battle at Endor.
if it was in episode 1 id say it was the first ship from the alternate universe id say...
just saying
One of the tournament organizers suggested he do some tournaments where they work the way through the movies... So I went.. so I'm allowed to play Tie fighters and a single X1.. yay.. that makes crew selection easy.

Well then there you go. Imperial Aces pack is our next set of EU ships. Er, sorta.
Oh man, I started laughing and then realized the parallels to what the Nazis actually did to Greece are strong. That's caused by the secret Death Star they are building on the other side of the moon. I think they are planning to ship off all the Greeks to work on it, it will speed up the construction and cut Greece's unemployment figures overnight.
So the German's got the Greeks to build this?
So the German's got the Greeks to build this?
I watched part of that movie the other day... Didn't finish it.

The movie is OK... the space battles are cool, and the Laibach soundtrack is awesome.. The comedy is so so...
So to be honest, just watch the music video for Under The Iron Sky. for all the best bits
In other news.. that video linked me to this.. Oh yeah, space fighters, storm troopers... Silly Pirate capital ships..

Pffft. The moon IS the Death Star. It's being built from the inside out.
By R. Daneel Olivaw I presume?
Wonder how many of the youngsters will get that reference.
But I'm only 29! That's not thaaaaat old. Right? Please?
Really though, I'm just trying to amuse myself. And you know what? Mission Accomplished!

Soontir Fel and Turr Phennir are from the Rogue Squadron comics. Kath Scarlet was created for the Star Wars Galaxies trading card game.. so we've been tapping the EU since before the HWK came out
Well, now that we've confirmed the HWK-290 is in A New Hope Special Edition, I'm suddenly more intrigued by that blue droid in the background of that screenshot. Funny how some bits of canon never show up again.
Edited by DoubleNot7Funny, the Imperial Shuttle pretty clearly does appear in Firefly. I think it's on Ariel when they land, in the background.

Again in regards to the new BSG episodes and the firefly, screenshot.

Pics or it didn't happen?
I'm guess everyone has seen these shots from Star Trek?
WTH is that supposed to be.

That is an R2 Astromech, possibly of the R2-D2 designation.
R2-D2 in Star Trek Into Darkness.
He's in Star Trek (2009) as well:
It's really R2, I have paused the movie myself at that point. It's really clear.

JJ really has it in for spacing that poor droid.
I find this comment rude, ridiculous, and foolish. It's a HWK shaped blur.... It could as easily be Apollo 9, or Firefly.I haven't checked the scene yet, but wookiepedia says that it is an unconfirmed sighting of the Moldy Crow. I think that probably means that it is a HWK 290.
As if there is an "easy" chance that you're going to find
the Apollo 9 or a Firefly in STAR WARS Episode 4.
It may not be definitive but it's obviously not ever going to be Apollo 9 or a Firefly class ship.
Edit after taunting:
It's easy to mock when you don't have to provide any evidence.
If you look closely at the photo you notice one simple thing:
it is evidence.
I guess this is the final evidence

Er.. I think throwing droids out of airlocks is a perfectly valid thing to do... Who hasn't wanted to space C-3PO at some point?
